Joint Partners’ Monthly Activity Report (July, 2024)

In July 2024, the Joint Partner organizations—Women Lead Resource Center (WLRC), Magway Region Human Rights Network (MNRN), and Youth Empowerment (YE)—demonstrated our unwavering commitment to human rights and justice in Myanmar. We released comprehensive reports on various issues, including human rights violations, gender-based violence, political activities under military control, land grabbing, and modern slavery, while also producing educational and advocacy materials like video clips, pamphlets, and vinyls. Key activities included impactful online campaigns such as the “World Day for International Justice” and “Say ‘No’ to Junta Businesses,” alongside continuous updates to our websites with new content from January to June 2024.

The partners also engaged in networking meetings, IT consultations, and volunteer training sessions, and actively participated in significant webinars and on-ground meetings. Our concerted efforts underscore a robust approach to documenting injustices, raising awareness, and empowering communities, laying a strong foundation for continued advocacy and action in the months ahead.
