Conducting Digital Security Training Batch 2
On December 11, 2023, a Digital Security Batch(2) training was conducted by the Youth Empowerment (YE) and its partner, Women Lead Resource Center (WLRC) with twenty dedicated participants, who exhibited a commendable level of engagement and enthusiasm. The training aimed to equip participants with crucial knowledge and digital skills necessary to protect their digital presence and sensitive information. Participants engaged in robust discussions on topics such as social media privacy, encryption, passwords, and online threats, expressing intent to share their learnings with their communities. The training included practical exercises and case studies tailored to the specific needs of the attendees.
This batch consisted of 13 females, 6 males, and 1 participant who did not specify their gender, representing diverse backgrounds, including human rights activists, CDM members, and women activists from various regions. The training successfully empowered participants, enhancing their ability to continue their human rights work safely and effectively. The project also ensured sustainability through ongoing technical support and follow-up evaluations. The positive impact of this training is evident in the participants’ eagerness to learn and commitment to implementing best practices, contributing to a more security-conscious digital landscape.
