Strengthening Youth Empowerment Initiatives with French Embassy Support

With the generous Euro 800 support of the French Embassy through New Myanmar Foundation , Youth Empowerment (YE) has acquired two laptops for its office, enabling the organization to expand its outreach and effectiveness in various critical initiatives.

The laptops have facilitated YE in conducting conflict awareness sharing sessions and training programs in Sagaing and Chin Regions. These sessions are pivotal in raising awareness about conflict dynamics, promoting dialogue, and fostering peacebuilding efforts within these communities. Additionally, YE has been able to actively participate in campaigns like the white campaign, advocating for peace and reconciliation. Moreover, the 2 laptops have enabled YE to attend workshops, webinars of INGOs and networking meetings. These opportunities have provided YE with valuable insights, resources, and partnerships essential for enhancing its capacity and impact in promoting youth empowerment and peacebuilding initiatives.

Overall, the support from the French Embassy has significantly strengthened YE’s capabilities, allowing the organization to leverage technology for advancing conflict awareness, participating in advocacy campaigns, and fostering collaboration with international partners to promote sustainable peace and development in Myanmar.
