Conflict Awareness Sharing
On March 25, 2024, Youth Empowerment (YE) conducted a Conflict Awareness Sharing session inside Myanmar, targeting over 50 children aged 8 to 16. The session aimed to educate the children on how to handle air strikes by covering essential actions to take before, during, and after such events. Activities included an introduction to conflict awareness, detailed explanations of air strikes, and practical advice on safety measures. Role-playing exercises provided hands-on experience, while a Q&A session allowed participants to clarify any doubts.
The session successfully enhanced the children’s understanding of conflict situations, bolstered their confidence in handling emergencies, and fostered a supportive community atmosphere. Overall, the event equipped the participants with crucial life skills to navigate the challenges posed by conflict.
