World Day of Social Justice Online Campaign

The World Day of Social Justice Campaign, jointly organized by the Youth Empowerment (YE) and its partner organizations, achieved its objectives of raising awareness, empowering participants, fostering dialogue, and inspiring tangible actions towards global social justice issues. Held on February 20, 2024, the campaign brought together approximately 20 passionate participants dedicated to driving positive change in their communities and beyond. The campaign heightened awareness on diverse social justice topics such as gender equality, racial justice, LGBTQ+ rights, economic inequality, and environmental justice.

Participants were empowered with practical skills and resources to advocate effectively, fostering personal growth and community engagement. The campaign facilitated constructive dialogue and networking opportunities, leading to new partnerships and collaborative initiatives aimed at advancing social justice. As a lasting legacy, February 20th was symbolically designated as the World Day of Social Justice, marking a commitment to ongoing collective action for a more just and equitable world. Moving forward, NMF plans to sustain momentum through continued events, expand outreach efforts, support grassroots activism, and measure impact to ensure sustained progress towards social justice goals. This campaign empowered us to continue  working for marginalized communities and promote lasting social change.
