Conducting Digital Security Training Batch 3
On January 10, 2024, the Digital Security Batch (3) training was conducted by the Youth Empowerment (YE) and its partner, Women Lead Resource Center (WLRC) with eighteen including (9 ) females, ( 8 ) males, and ( 1 ) participants dedicated participants who exhibited a commendable level of engagement and enthusiasm. The training aimed to equip participants with crucial knowledge and digital skills necessary to protect their digital presence and sensitive information in an increasingly digital world. The primary goal was to educate and empower participants to understand potential threats, adopt best practices, and implement security measures to safeguard their personal and professional digital assets.
Throughout the training, the participants’ diverse backgrounds enriched discussions on topics such as internet safety, data privacy, encryption, and secure communication.The inclusion ratio for this batch was balanced, with participants from various sectors and regions, including human rights activists, CDM members, and other professionals. The project’s sustainability was ensured through technical support, ongoing mentoring, and participant feedback. The eagerness to learn and commitment to implementing best practices demonstrated by the participants underscores the positive impact of these training sessions on enhancing digital security awareness, contributing to a more security-conscious digital landscape among the participants and beyond.
