Empowering People including Youth for Conflict Understanding and Community Resilience

On January 4, 2024, with the Support of New Myanmar Foundation (NMF),  Youth Empowerment organized a knowledge-sharing event inside Myanmar (due to security considerations, we will not describe the details location of the event) , focusing on conflict understanding and community resilience. The event, attended by 130 participants including youth, community leaders, and activists, aimed to deepen understanding of pre-conflict dynamics, explore during-conflict scenarios, and discuss post-conflict rebuilding strategies. The sessions included insightful presentations, interactive workshops, case studies, and role-playing exercises.

Participants engaged in discussions about historical contexts and root causes of conflicts, examined conflict dynamics through simulations, and brainstormed rebuilding strategies. Key outcomes included increased awareness of conflict issues, practical conflict resolution skills, and enhanced community engagement. The event empowered participants, especially youth, to contribute to conflict resolution and community resilience, laying the groundwork for long-term positive change in the region.
